WebOneWord uses browser storage for specific website functions. Cookies and local storage are different technologies, but both can keep information between visits. This page explains the categories used by the application and the choices available to you.
Essential sessions and form security
A session cookie can be used for administrator sign-in, contact-form security and related operational functions. The application restricts administrative sessions and uses secure-cookie settings on HTTPS. These functions are not advertising profiles and cannot be replaced by public cached pages.
Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in or cause a protected form submission to fail. The application does not require a visitor to create a public account merely to browse domain profiles or read guides.
Your shortlist and evaluation notes
When you choose to save a domain, the shortlist is stored in the browser under the WebOneWord site origin. Domain-evaluation notes are stored separately on the same device. These features are initiated by your actions and are not automatically synchronized to another browser or device.
The saved-domains page lets you remove names, clear the shortlist and export the names. To remove evaluation notes or all site storage, use your browser's site-data controls. Browser cleanup, private browsing or storage restrictions can remove or prevent these local records.
Optional analytics
The operator can enable an analytics service such as Google Analytics to understand website usage. Depending on the configuration and your choices, analytics code may use identifiers or process usage, device and network information. The site's default Google consent signals deny analytics storage until a configured consent mechanism updates them.
A default consent signal is not the same as a complete regional consent interface. The operator must configure the appropriate consent-management service and ensure that optional integrations follow the choices it presents.
Optional advertising
When advertising is enabled, Google or another configured provider may use cookies or related technologies to deliver, measure and protect advertising services. The applicable behavior can depend on region, provider settings, browser restrictions and consent. Personalized advertising should not be assumed simply because an ad slot is present.
Advertising code is separate from the naming score and public registration results. It does not turn a domain card into a verified offer or establish an endorsement of a marketplace.
Managing your choices
Use the consent controls displayed by the configured consent platform where applicable. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser. Deleting storage may reset choices and remove saved names or notes. Optional provider settings may offer additional controls on the provider's own website.
